Abused Dependent Adults

Adults with physical or mental limitations which restrict their ability to carry out normal activities, protect their rights or remove themselves from harm who are being subjected to physical, sexual or emotional abuse or intimidation; unreasonable physical restraint; prolonged deprivation of food and water; financial abuse; or misuse/misappropriation of material assets by their family caregivers or other individuals involved in their care either in their own homes or in a residential/nursing facility.

Adult men who have been subjected to a persistent pattern of physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse and intimidation by their wives or intimate partners.

Elder Abuse Victims

Older adults who have been, or are suspected of being, subjected to physical, sexual or emotional abuse or intimidation; unreasonable physical restraint; prolonged deprivation of food and water; financial abuse; or misuse/misappropriation of material assets by their family caregivers or other individuals involved in their care either in their own homes or in a residential/nursing facility.

Individuals age 18 and older who have been raped or otherwise sexually assaulted or adults who, as children, were victims of incest.
