Description (Service) | The only surviving Quaker Meeting House in Prince Edward County has been the site of the museum since 1967. Displays of Quaker artifacts, pioneer implements, buttons and Victorian handicrafts. Dedicated to the preservation of the history of the village. Situated on Main Street, in Wellington's downtown section. The museum is home to the Crawford canning collection depicting the canning industry in Prince Edward County, the "Garden County." Included is machinery, documents, photographs and over 1000 original labels dating back to the late 1800's |
