Description and Services
Description (Service) To protect and promote the natural and cultural heritage of O'Hara Mill Conservation Area and the O'Hara Mill Homestead Museum with several heritage events, visitor tours of 10 rural heritage buildings, approximately 7 kilometers of hiking trails, facilities for weddings, family reunions, festivals and school educational tours.
Hours Conservation area open year round. Homestead buildings open July and August from Tues-Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm buildings open Saturday, Sunday 11 am to 4 pm during June, September, October to Thanksgiving weekend.
Meetings Third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm Location varies but is typically at the Welcome Center at the Homestead (638 Mill Rd) during May to December, and the Madoc Kiwanis Center, St. Lawrence East, during January to April inclusive.
