| Description (Service) | Treatment program for adult men based on a cognitive behavioural therapy and harm reduction. A 21-day, abstinence-based program. Daily group sessions, on topics such as goal setting, communication, assertiveness, harm reduction, etc., and weekly individual counselling. Residents are expected to participate in daily chores, exercises and evening activities. The facility has 14 beds. Not particularly suitable for youth (e.g., under 21 years of age). |

| Application | Standardized residential referral package is required by fax. Referral must be assessed by a qualified source, e.g., an assessment centre, and has a treatment plan including tentative aftercare plans. Clients must be detoxified for a minimum of 72 hours for alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, and longer periods for other substances can be negotiated with the intake worker. Continuous intake and admissions occur are Thursdays between 1 pm and 2:30 pm. Organization will not assume responsibility for monitoring bail or parole conditions and incarcerated clients may apply upon release from custody. |
