Description (Service) Specializes in education on and prevention of lung diseases. Runs several programs including: Asthma Action Helpline (one on one help, helps asthmatic children and their caregivers to better understand, manage andcope with the disease); Breathworks (a helpline for people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD); Stop Smoking Program (a self-help program in which The Lung Association aids those who want to quit); Clean Air Program (provides practical tips on how to improve indoor and outdoor air quality, aiding respiratory health). 
Research and research grants for issues affecting lung health including lung cancer. Organizes and hosts several fundraising events in Hastings and Prince Edward County including Tulip Campaign.
