Description and Services
Description (Service) COVID-19 assessment centre * out-of-hospital clinic where people will be assessed by a health-care provider and tested for COVID-19 if required * the test involves taking a sample from the throat or nose with a swab
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
Areas Served Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility Individuals with escalating symptoms such as a new or worsening cough and/or fever, and who have either travelled outside of Canada or been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days:  
* children under 6 months old meeting this criteria should be taken to CHEO  
* visit the COVID-19 Assessment Centre  
 
Individuals with mild symptoms should self-isolate in their own home until 24 hours have passed without symptoms.  
 
Individuals with severe symptoms should call 9-1-1 if in distress or go to their local emergency department and follow special signage
