Court specifically designed to deal with non-violent, repeat offenders with addiction to drugs * day treatment groups, individual counselling for substance use and related mental health concerns, assistance with basic needs and job search/readiness, and/or education upgrading in conjunction with weekly appearance in court * minimum of nine-month program * successful participants receive sentence that does not involve going to jail |

Ages: 18 year(s) and up Individuals 18 years and older with outstanding, non-violent, Criminal Code charge that is related to drug addiction or a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charge * must be approved by the Crown Attorney, Rideauwood, and the Drug Treatment Court judge |

Access to this program only available through the Court. If eligible, encourage speaking to lawyer. Lawyers can obtain application packages from the Crown Attorney's office. Individuals can request application consideration through their lawyer or available Duty Counsel. |
