| Description (Service) | Training program in carpentry, dry walling, tile & marble setting, floor covering installation and painting, that includes: * 24 weeks of training at no cost * 8 to 12 weeks of paid work placement * Technical, academic, and pre-employment preparation * Textbooks, toolkits, and safety equipment at no cost * First Aid and CPR-C, WHMIS, Working at Heights, Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps at no cost * Access to Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) portfolio review (where applicable) * The opportunity to earn up to three secondary school credits toward Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma |
