Description (Service) Affordable monthly transit pass providing a lower-priced transit option * available only on a registered Presto card

Eligibility City of Ottawa residents whose household income falls below the low-income cut-off (LICO) threshold, as set out annually by the Government of Canada: 
* one person $20,675 
* two persons $25,163 
* three persons $31,334 
* four persons $39,092 
* five persons $44,514 
* six persons $49,367 
* seven or more persons $54,220 
Individuals who are not eligible: 
* Individuals who receive the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) benefits (the alternative is the Community Pass) 
* Individuals who receive transportation benefits from any other source (including Ontario Works and the Province of Ontario) 
* Students who receive a U-Pass or a School Board-issued pass (School Transportation Authority (OSTA) or Consortium de transport scolaire d'Ottawa (CTSO) passes) can apply for an EquiPass for the months when they are not receiving these passes 
* Seniors 65 years and older (the alternative is the Seniors Pass) 
** Individuals are only entitled to one fare discount. Seniors who meet the income level entry and benefit more from the EquiPass discount over the senior discount, will be assessed upon request on a case-by-case basis.
Application Fill out the application form available on the website, by mail (call to request a copy) or in person at various locations (see website for details) * forms can be submitted in person (see website for details) or by mail * applicants will receive a letter advising them of the status of their application within approximately 15 business days of submitting, although times may vary depending on volume of applications
