| Description (Service) | COVID-19 (24 March 2020): This agency's services are affected by the COVID-19 * offering phone counselling to current clients * walk-in clinic is still running, however sessions will be via phone * all group services have been cancelled * in the process of determining if there is a way they can offer support to those who are not clients, but needs to sort out consent forms, limits to confidentiality, etc. Advocacy worker available to meet with individuals who are having difficulty accessing services or need assistance to navigate systems * the worker will help identify specific needs and develop the best course of action * information and referrals * information sessions and presentations to the public * outreach to vulnerable and marginalized groups who face barriers when accessing services * participation in community planning and coordination activities |
