Wild animals need specialized care and medical treatment that only a licensed wildlife rehabilitator can provide * in Ontario, it is illegal for the general public to care for wildlife

Application First visit website, especially the Wildlife Emergencies and Wildlife Conflicts pages : there may be a solution or interim instructions for the current query. * For help with wild mammals or turtles, call or send an email; messages are frequently checked. * Urgent wildlife emergencies calls should be returned for the same day from April to October. * Non-emergency calls are returned within 48 hours; leave only one message. 
For after-hours wildlife emergency (an animal is in imminent danger or suffering), contact the local animal control agency or humane society. Otherwise, leave a message on hotline and call will be returned in the morning. 
Do not bring animals without first speaking with the hotline staff, as there are many situations that can be resolved over the phone. * To drop-off wildlife or arrange a visit, call or email for an appointment and directions.
