Description (Service) | Community-based agency dedicated to helping youth and their families overcome substance use, mental health and related issues. Programs and services include: Comprehensive assessment * three-month residential treatment (flexible) * up to three-month post-residential continuing care * family services * psychiatric care and primary health care on a limited basis Residential Treatment: 24-hour residential addiction treatment 10-bed facility for young females Assertive Continuing Care (ACC): In order to support healthy lifestyle changes, reduce relapse risk and to facilitate community linkage, ACC counsellors engage youth and families immediately after the residential phase has ended. Family Services: Families matter here and caregiver involvement is a critically important part of the treatment process. Specific services include parent education, crisis support and family counseling. Academics: Clients receive individualized programming and are able to earn high school credits. |
