Description (Service) Online information and support about advanced illness, palliative and end-of-life care, loss and grief * listings of over 900 programs, services and recommended resources 
Answers to your questions: trusted information written by health experts and personalized support online. Articles and videos by health experts available on symptoms, emotional and spiritual health, decision-making, care giving and what to expect with various illnesses, what to expect when death is near, etc.
Ask a Professional: Canadians can ask a question confidentially, online to a team of physicians, nurses, a social worker, spiritual care advisors and ethicists, and receive a personal, confidential response. There is no cost.
Ask and Answered: Over 120 common questions and their answers.
Discussion Forums: A safe, supportive online community for patients and caregivers to connect with others in similar circumstances for sharing and support. The community is managed by a community moderator.
The Gallery: Features short video clips from experts, patients and family members. The collection includes a series of how-to videos for family and professional caregivers, demonstrating common caregiving tasks.
For Professionals: A suite of tools for health professionals to support practice. A video series of more than over 500 video clips sharing the lived experience of people with advanced illness, family members, community leaders and health providers from 11 of Canada’s cultural communities.
Indigenous Voices Stories of Serious Illness and Grief: First Nations, Inuit and Métis patients, families and health providers from across Canada share their stories of caring, traditions and healing.
LivingOutLoud.Life is the world’s first online platform dedicated to supporting and empowering young adults and teens living with advanced illness. Young people share their stories - covering subjects such as relationships, daily life, decisions, and sex and fertility. Helps you understand and work through grief, from the comfort of your own home, at no charge. A free, bilingual online resource for parents, guardians and caregivers supporting children and teens in times of grief. A free, accredited online course on prescribing methadone for pain in palliative care.
