Description (Service) | COVID-19 (11 Jun 2020): Due to COVID19, the centre is closed for programs until further notice. * Transportation to medical appointments, shopping, telephone check-ins and information and referral remain available. * Working with other agencies to coordinates services for seniors in the community. * Tax preparation services on hold indefinitely. * Free food boxes and delivery available until Jun 30, 2020. Access to community resources * meeting space (may be rented) * assistance with income tax for low income seniors and people with disabilities * home support service (home maintenance, homemaking, light housekeeping and companion care) * Seniors' Recreation Program Local Information and Referral Service: * social agencies * community organizations * government * recreational activities * education |
