Description (Service) The independent agency mandated by Parliament to ensure a public service that is competent, non-partisan, representative of the Canadian population and able to serve the public in the official language of their choice. In addition, the PSC recruits qualified Canadians from across the country. 
Through its Staffing and Assessment Services Branch, the PSC provides to Canadians: 
* Job opportunities and recruitment programs in the federal public service through InfoTel at 1-888-780-4444 (toll free) or visit 
* Occupational tests and assessments through the Personnel Psychology Centre, including general administrative tests, visit for more information.
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Frontenac County ; Hastings County ; Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Lennox and Addington County ; Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Prince Edward County ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
