Description (Service) | Community Economic Development Corporation providing a variety of supported employment, educational, wellness programs and other services * Solutions for Youth Project: paid pre-employment program * Employment Supports Program: (ESP through ODSP) job placement and retention * Social Enterprises: provides employment opportunities to consumers, see separate record for information * Job Quest: supported employment program for individuals with barriers to employment including those with disabilities, addictions, as well as those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness * this model offers rapid integration into jobs in the community based on participants skills and interests * Financial literacy training * Community Loan Fund (for eligible clients trapped in cycle of Pay Day loans) * Supported Employment in Rural Ottawa: program for persons with severe mental illness living in rural areas of Ottawa * Wellness program: for consumers with an employment goal * certified trainer will assist participants in reaching their personal fitness goals in a user friendly low key facility * Causeway Foundation: charity raising funds to support the Causeway Work Centre's initiative; includes a Greeting Card Campaign * Four agency-sponsored entrepreneurial businnesses providing employment opportunities to consumers: Krackers Katering * Good Nature Groundskeeping * Cycle Salvation |
