Description (Service) | Residential addiction treatment services for youth * family education and support services * critical continuing care (aftercare), programming for those departing residential services. * Residential: Individual and group therapy in a cognitive-behavioural context * Academic services through the McHugh Education Centre * psychiatric assessment and consultation * recreational programming * primary health care clinics * Aftercare: Case management, home visits, linkage and family support through the outreach-based Assertive Continuing Care (ACC) program * Families: Assertive Community Reinforcement Approach (ACRA) caregiver sessions conducted during youth residential services and the Family Support Network (FSN) programming available on an outpatient basis. * Services include home visits, educational groups and case management Residential service duration is 3-months (flexible), followed a 3-month (flexible), continuing care (aftercare), program known as Assertive Continuing Care (ACC) |
