Description (Service) | Programs and services for children, parents, parents-to-be and caregivers Birth and Parent Companion Program: Trains community volunteers to provide individual support to marginalized families during pregnancy, childbirth and the early years of parenting Postpartum Support: Weekly drop-in for moms with babies under 12 months and bi-monthly for new dads/partners EarlyON Child and Family Centre: drop-in playgroups * toy-lending library * workshops * parent support, etc Licensed Daycare Centre: from infant to Senior Kindergarten * Kinder Program, a Kindergarten alternative * Licensed Part-time/Casual Child Care to meet the needs of parents requiring part-time or occasional care Licensed Home Child Care throughout the city from infant to school age Licensed School Age Programs: The Waterbridge and Elmdale Programs are attached to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s Farley Mowat and Elmdale Public Schools, offering Early Childhood Education Programs for Kindergarten (JK/SK) children and School Age children before and after-school, and full day non instructional days * Farley Mowat Public School also offers a Licensed Preschool Program Prenatal Education classes Equipment Rental: portable cribs * high chairs * strollers |
