Description (Service) | Health organization dedicated to supporting people, caregivers, and communities affected by schizophrenia and psychosis * offers tailored services, education, advocacy and research Ask The Expert (ATE): confidential online, over-the-phone, and in-person service for people and families living with schizophrenia and other severe mental illness * a team of trained mental health counselors provide customized, supportive counseling, system navigation, and connects people to resources and services in their local area Strengthening Families Together (SFT): four-week education and support program for family members and friends of people living with serious and persistent mental illness * delivered in a small family-to-family setting * provides mental health resources and information on coping, self-care, system navigation and other topics associated with daily living as well as the recovery process |
