| Description (Service) | Programs for children and youth from Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and/or Queer (2SLGBTQ+) identities, families and communities Camp Ten Oaks: week-long, sleep away summer camp for children and youth 8-17 years old from 2SLGBTQ+ identities, families and communities * two week-long sessions run annually with one outside of Kingston and the other outside of London, ON Project Acorn: four-day community building space for youth 16-24 years old from 2SLGBTQ+ identities, families and communities in Ottawa Oak Grove Family Camp: A weekend-long sleep away camp for families with children and/or parents from 2SLGBTQ+ identities and communities * Offered outside Lombardy, ON Camp Lifting Leaves: A weekend sleep away camp for children and youth (aged 8-21) in and out of care, from 2SLGBTQ+ identities, families, and communities. Trans Children and Youth Swim Night: A once per month swim meet for trans, gender-creative, and gender non-conforming youth and their families. Shaping Parenthood: A 2SLGBTQ+ Ottawa Parenting Series - An ongoing series of workshops aiming to empower 2SLGBTQ+ communities in their family planning, providing them with knowledge of systems, practices, and resources available to make a family their way. |
