Description (Service) | Offers financial assistance for children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities. * Offers funds and disability solutions through direct financial assistance * camp and Recreational Choices Program * Feature Scholarships * Incontinence Supplies Grant Program * research * advocacy * public and consumer education and peer support. * Services offered: Financial assistance for families to assist in covering the cost of braces * wheelchairs * special equipment not covered under a medical insurance or government plan (based on financial need). * Camp Merrywood: Located between Perth and Smiths Falls * for children with physical disabilities ages 8 to 19; one or two week sessions * Family camp for children under 10 with physical disabilities and their families; one week sessions. * Information on Local Fundraising events in Ottawa and surrounding areas |
