Description (Service) COVID-19 (23 April 2020) The Ottawa Hospital is closed to public or visitors until further notice. Outpatients must call the hospital ahead at 613-722-7000 and ask to be transferred to the appropriate unit to discuss the situation with their care. Outpatient sexual related services are accessible by calling 613-798-5555 X 13770 for support or to inquire about virtual clinic visits.

Services to people who have suffered sexual assault, sexual exploitation, dating violence or intimate partner violence within the past six months * program based on privacy, confidentiality and consent Based in a hospital setting, the program offers : * medical examination * collection of forensic evidence * initial and serial documentation of injuries, photography and body mapping * crisis intervention * sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing * pregnancy testing * HIV post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) * preventative vaccinations and prescriptions * short-term follow-up * community based or professional referrals for ongoing and/or collaborative care
