Description (Service) COVID-19 (20 April 2020): This organization is not offering pickups or deliveries at this time. Eligible individuals can call to put their name on a call back list for when the pandemic has ended. Please hold off on donating items at the donation boxes at this time and hold on to donations for pick up at a later time.

Free relief service with no demands made to individuals in distress through disaster or extreme financial difficulty * these necessities are provided free, based on the need (closely monitored) with written referral from any social services agency, government or private

Accepts donations of the following items: clothing (bagged) * shoes * linen * tools * toys (not broken) * housewares * kitchenware (small appliances in working condition) * knick knacks * small furniture (no heavy cabinets or beds) * upholstered furniture (the organization has the right to refuse the donation for health and safety reasons)
Hours COVID-19: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm, Sat 9 am-4 pm
Areas Served Ottawa ; Donation pickups: as far as Carp (West) and Cumberland (East) * may go out of that catchment for substantial donations
Eligibility People who are underprivileged, in extreme financial difficulty, or in distress through a disaster
Application Some assistance with used clothing, footwear, furniture and appliances will be provided free, based on the need (closely monitored) with written referral from social assistance, mother's allowance, Children's Aid Society, Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Ottawa Housing and other social agencies. * Assistance provided to fire victims with written referral from the fire department or any social services agency.
