|Description (Service)||Academic upgrading courses which prepare individuals for college programs and/or employment * individuals can study only the courses they need to meet the admission requirements for a college program of choice, or they can earn the Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) which is recognized across Ontario as a Grade 12 equivalency for admission to college, and by many employers as meeting their minimum employment standard * delivery of most courses is individualized * placement tests determine which course to start in * continuous intake * daytime or evening * full-time or part-time communication

|Eligibility||Ages: 19 year(s) and up
Applicants must be 19 years or older.
Applicants less than 19 years of age can be considered but must meet with an Academic Access Advisor first.
Eligibility is determined by an initial English reading assessment.

|Fees||Service ; Tuition is free for Ontario residents who qualify for financial assistance under the Institution-Funded Special Bursary or Literacy and Basic Skills programs; financial assistance may also be available for travel and/or childcare costs.
Tuition fees: full-time students: $74.31 per week * part-time students: $6.30 per hour of instruction * books provided at no cost * annual IT fee of $87.72 (starting 26 August 2019)
