Description (Service) | Utilizes a bio-psychosocial approach to assessment and treatment * Inpatient bed unit * Outpatient service: Young Adult Service targeted to those within the first five years of a diagnosed psychotic illness, providing consultation * assessment * treatment * rehabilitation * community reintegration support * Transitional Day Hospital: Intensive, individualized and goal-oriented program including education, and a social and recreational group post-discharge * Ongoing support through the Royal Assertive Community Treatment Team and the Step Down Program * Case Management Services (partnership with Mental Health Community Support Services) * Education and Research Unit studying initiatives in the areas of psycho-pharmacology, psychosocial influences, neurocognition and family history |
