| Description (Service) | COVID-19 (15 Apr 2020): Delivery of meals outside the door. Leave a message at 613-354-6355 or send an email at morningstar@cogeco.net by 10 am on the day of the meal to ensure delivery. How many meals needed, the first and last name of the person requesting, the full address and a contact number if the apartment is in a building is required. Volunteers drivers will knock and set the meal outside the door. The Warming Centre is closed as of Mar 15, 2020. Various community programs * Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP): income tax return help for low income individuals and families * by appointment only * Christian Men's breakfast: full breakfast, music, testimony and fellowship * Women's breakfast: full breakfast, testimony, and fellowship * children welcome * Hot meals program * Take Home Food Basket Program: includes the delivery of small basket of food items to isolated individuals * Women's support group "Connecting Through Crafts" * Community Church (interfaith service) and bible study * Hospital and prison visits * Annual Christmas Day lunch |
