Description (Service) | Sleep disorder clinic * conducts overnight sleep studies to determine if a sleep disorder exists * during the study, brain activity and body systems such as breathing, heart rate, leg movements and body position, and how they impact on sleep throughout the night are monitored * makes treatment recommendations if necessary * performs daytime studies to evaluate patients with disorders causing daytime sleepiness |
