Description (Service) Community-based group of trained volunteers dedicated to caring for the terminally-ill and those with life threatening illnesses through support services * one-on-one bereavement support and support groups for those who have lost a loved one * bereavement support groups for children and youth * non-denominational 
Douglas Thompson Children’s Wish Fund: grants small scale, life enhancing wishes to children living with a life threatening illness * wishes include technology to help keep families connected during treatment, gaming equipment or games, excursions, room enhancements that meet the physical and emotional needs of the child, and other items

Boundaries Erinsville (North) to Adolphustown (South) * Deseronto (West) to Amherstview (East)
Eligibility Residents of Lennox & Addington with a terminal or life-threatening diagnosis * bereavement support to those grieving the loss of a loved one 
Douglas Thompson Children’s Wish Fund: youth 19 years and older diagnosed with a life threatening illness meeting the criteria * residents of Lennox and Addington County receive priority, but the Board of Directors may make exceptions
Application Call ahead before dropping in to ensure someone is at the office 
Referrals accepted from any source * each client is assessed and matched with a suitable volunteer * bereavement support is given as requested * forms available on the website
