Description (Service) | COVID-19 (23 Apr 2020): Due to COVID19, CHS offices are closed to the public. Services continue remotely by video; all services available via video conferencing. Provides home visits, communication devices loans, demonstration, trial and sales, supportive counselling, advocacy, education and information to people with hearing loss, their families, caregivers and the general public * offers Hearing Help Classes and Tinnitus Support Groups and support to older adults with Meniere's Also offers in-service workshops on hearing loss to community agencies/groups that provide training and services to seniors. Goal is to reduce isolation due to hearing loss and to increase independence and safety at individual's chosen home. |
