DescriptionTrauma could include witnessing abuse or a traumatic event such as physical, sexual and emotional abuse or death * A specialized assessment is completed and an individualized treatment program developed 
 
Supplementary DescriptionSome possible indicators of trauma: Decline in school performance * Withdrawal, appears depressed * Hyperactive * Loss of interest in usual activities * Nightmares * Bedwetting, other regression * Change in appetite * Low self-esteem * Excessive guilt or shame * Pessimistic about the future * Repetitive play themes * Sexual knowledge beyond age * Problems with peer relationships * Sexually acting out * Phobias/fears * anxiety
