DescriptionOffers meeting places, support and resources for parents, caregivers and children birth to age 6. Provides many activities, many of which promote the overall development of children as well as education, prevention, early intervention and effective support to families. 
 
* Playgroups: For children from birth to 6 years accompanied by a parent or guardian. Families are welcomed by a facilitator-educator and resource person. A variety of activities (crafts, games, circle songs, etc.) are available, promoting their overall development and socialization. The contact person talks to parents and caregivers on topics related to child education. Also provides them with documentation and resources, offers support and referrals to other services. 
 
* Documentation Centre: Includes a variety of adult books related to the development and well-being of children and the parenting skills. Many pamphlets and resource sheets are also available. 
 
* Workshops: Evening workshops are offered to parents and caregivers. These workshops focus on the daily challenges that may face parents and caregivers in the education of young children. It deals with discipline, parenting style or the overall development of children.

FeesService - after school program: fees vary according to services required ; None - Play Groups and Workshops ; Fee assistance available for those who meet the criteria ; assistance is provided by the City of Ottawa.
