DescriptionSchool programs and services for children experiencing difficulty. 
 
Each school has access to a team of specialists: psychologists * speech therapists * social workers * special teachers for blind individuals * deaf and other abnormalities * special education workers 
 
Primary School programs include: early and continuous detection * educational resources * communication * deafness and hearing loss * blindness * behaviour * autism and pervasive developmental disorders 
 
Secondary School programs include: the EduCentre * deafness * deaf-blindness and low vision * gifted programs
EligibilityAges: 4 year(s) - 21 year(s) 
 
Students in difficulty, between the ages of 4 and 21, can present one of the following four anomalies: 
* behavioural disorders (emotional disorder or social maladjustment) 
* communication problems (autism, hearing impairment, speech or language disorders and learning disabilities) 
* intellectual (gifted children, mild or moderate mental disability) 
* physical disabilities (orthopedic, physical or visual)
ApplicationThe identification, placement and review committee determines the child's needs in order to make a proper placement.
