Description
The objectives of the program are * to enhance well-being by providing appropriate social, physical and mental stimulation in a supportive group environment * to strengthen the ability to remain independent for as long as possible * to provide respite to caregivers
The Program offers: Opportunities to socialize and form friendships * intellectual stimulation in the form of quizzes, discussion groups, question-and-answer periods * activities in the form of games, films, sing songs, speakers or entertainers and occasional outings * chair exercises * a nutritious lunch and refreshments * arrangements for special diets are possible * non-denominational chapel service * counselling and referral services * assistance with transportation to and from the centre, as required * other services available include foot care, hair care, well-being clinic, clothing alterations, nearly new clothing shop, tuck shop and more.
Eligibility
Ages: 55 year(s) and up
Seniors 55 years of age and older with special needs who require minimal assistance with the activities of daily living

Membership - $32 membership fee ; Program - Daily program fee * $15 per day, billed to the participant or caregiver monthly, includes lunch
