| Description | Experience an Ottawa landmark! Visit this architecturally unique house, built 1827-1829, and discover the story of one of Ottawa's founding families. Family heirlooms and household furnishings are among the many artifacts that help to tell the stories of the Billings family and surrounding community, over a period of four generations. The grounds feature several outbuildings, colourful flower beds, and a historic cemetery. Don't forget to ask about our famous tea-on-the-lawn. Education Programs: The Museum is pleased to be offer a variety of school programs to K-8 classes * Informal education classes happen throughout the year. Facilities rentals: Meeting facilities and the grounds are available for rentals. | |||
