| Description | English language instruction for immigrants, refugees and newcomers * One-on-one tutoring (Main Program): Adult newcomers who cannot access regular language programs are offered at-home one-on-one English language tutoring free of charge * students who are attending Literacy classes and need extra support are also eligible for this program. * Drop-in Classes: Some evening and weekend classes (for beginner through advanced level students) are also provided for a small fee * classes are open to all adult newcomers regardless of immigration status. | |||
| Eligibility | Ages: 18 year(s) and up * One-on-one: Open to adult immigrants 18 years of age and older who have Landed Immigrant or Conventional Refugee status and need help with English language skills and cannot attend regular classes * Drop-in Classes: Open to all adult newcomers 18 years of age and older enrolling for beginner through advance levels regardless of immigration status | |||
