HoursHours vary according to the activity. Please call or consult the website for specific hours.
DatesFebruary 1 to February 18, 2013

The many Winterlude activity venues are accessible every day (except Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau (Hull area), which is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays; however, special activities take place over all three Winterlude weekends.
DescriptionWinterlude celebrates the uniqueness of winter every year in February on the Rideau Canal Skateway, at Confederation Park in downtown Ottawa and at Jacques Cartier Park in Gatineau. It is more than a festival, it is a celebration of Canada's northern identity.

Glittering ice sculptures, snow carvings of epic proportions, special events and sports competitions are part of the magic of this winter celebration. People turn out by the thousands to skate on the world's largest skating rink, the picturesque Rideau Canal Skateway. Come with the kids for a sleigh ride, meet the Ice Hogs (the friendly Winterlude mascots) at Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau, and romp through the largest winter playground on the continent.
