Description
A national non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan, women’s equality seeking organization of close to 10,000 women graduates and students in 112 Clubs across Canada * has special consultative status at the United Nations and representation at the Education Committee of the Canadian Commission to UNESCO.
Eligibility
Any woman may join who meets one the following qualifications: has a degree, diploma or the equivalent from an institution of higher education * has been accepted for a masters or doctoral program at a recognized tertiary institution * has a professional designation or qualification that currently requires a degree, diploma or equivalent qualification * is a full-time student at an accredited post-secondary institution * has qualifications other than the above, and supports the policies and objectives of CFUW may apply for Associate Membership
* Any women who meet one or more of the above qualifications can join any one of 122 Clubs/Alumnae Associations in Canada or may become a Member-at-Large (not affiliated with a local Club).
