DescriptionPromote the art of storytelling in the community, to nurture and inspire both beginning and experienced storytellers and to provide tellers and listeners of all ages with opportunities to come together to share and enjoy stories. 
 
The following activities take place: 
* Monthly Story Swaps: first Thursday of the month at 7 pm, at the National Library of Canada, 395 Wellington St, Rm 156 
* Ottawa International Storytelling Festival 
* Concerts at Canada's National Art Center Fourth Stage: December through June 
* Workshops for beginning storytellers, intermediate tellers, and experienced tellers, several times per year 
* Stories with Tea: second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 7 pm, at The Tea Party 119 York Street 
* Children's Storytelling Festival 
* Stories at the Billings estate 
* Stories at Collected Works Bookstore
EligibilityFor adults interested in developing their storytelling skills or listening to stories * some family programming available
