DescriptionServices for male and female youth and adult men and women in conflict with, or at risk of coming into conflict with the law * assists with housing, employment and education, literacy deficits, and problems caused by substance abuse and criminal conduct 
 
Staff on site at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre to assist with housing and community linkages and at the Ottawa courts to assist with bail verification and supervision * residential support available to homeless men released from custody, federally sentenced men at three residences, and male and female youth at two residences * services available through the Community Employment Resource Centre in Nepean (613-828-2123) and Hire Power Employment Services in Lowertown (613-789-7418). 
 
Crisis intervention * needs assessment and long-term counselling * employment assistance including resume preparation, job search and job maintenance support * bail supervision * pre-release planning visits to area institutions * public education * student social work and criminology field instruction and volunteer opportunities * works in close liaison with private and public organizations to provide the best possible service to clients and their families.
