Family Support Group: 3rd Thursday of the month, 7 pm-9 pm at Orléans United Church, 1111 Orléans Blvd, Ottawa * Intersection: Jeanne D'Arc Blvd N 
 
Discovery 2000 subsidized recreation program for people with mood disorders: Events held 2-3 times per month; call for a calendar.
DescriptionInformation meetings for people with mood disorders, relatives, friends, service providers and the public. 
 
Meetings: Includes a speaker, a question and answer session and refreshments. 
 
Peer Support Group: Confidential discussion for adults with mood disorders 
 
Family Support Group: For adult relatives and friends of people with mood disorders. 
 
Discovery 2000 Program: Subsidized recreational events for adults with mood disorders * activities include, movie night (First Tuesday of each month) * picnics * hikes * theatre * dinners * sporting events * museum and gallery visits * please call for a calendar of activities 
 
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) program * Pathways to Recovery Program * bimonthly newsletter * a lending library * website 
 
NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program: A free 12-week course for relatives of people with serious mental illness * call the CMHA 613-737-7791 to pre-register
EligibilityAges: 18 year(s) and up 
 
The support groups are for adults 18 years of age and older with mood disorders and their adult relatives and friends. 
 
You do not have to be a member to attend support groups, however only members with a mood disorder are eligible for subsidized recreation under our Discovery 2000 Program.
