DescriptionProvides a psycho-educational program to adolescents which supports prevention and early intervention for any adolescent at risk (substance abuse and related mental health issues). The goal is to increase the ability of at risk adolescents to implement healthy decision making skills. Based on voluntary participation of adolescents 
 
Adolescent program curriculum (manual) and parent program curriculum * Preventative parenting group offered through participating schools * Operated in collaboration with local school boards and the Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders Program of the Royal Ottawa Hospital
Waiting Listt states that the program serves 15-19 and that the other programs serve 16 and up. It is 18 and up for the other programs. Early Intervention severs 12-18
EligibilityAges: 12 year(s) - 18 year(s) 
 
Adolescents 12-18 years old, who are at risk or who may have begun to experience school, social, family, or legal problems related to substance abuse or other related mental health issues * the adolescent must be attending a school where the program is being offered * written consent of parent/guardian to participate required
