Description
Provides specialized social work services as an integral part of the interdisciplinary family centered care approach. Offer services across all programs/areas within the hospital including: * Emergency Department *outpatient Clinics * Inpatient Services. * Provide counselling to help patients and families effectively cope and adapt to the impact of trauma, illness and hospitalization. * Advocate on behalf of patients and families for necessary community resources.

Application
Referrals for individual, group and family counselling are received from members of the health care team or from families through a referral by a physician.
