InfoService: Bilingual telephone information service centre. Provides quick information by phone on a wide variety of topics; contact information for businesses and government agencies * look up dates, names, spellings and definition of words * provides information about OPL services and programs or refers you to other sources of information for further help. Communicate with the centre by calling or sending an e-mail.

ApplicationVisit any branch to obtain a membership card * A proof of residence is required * Children need a parent's signature in order to get a card.
FeesMembership - Membership is free for Ottawa residents. * Fees apply for non-residents. ; A parent or guardian's signature is required for anyone under 18 years of age. * Library cards must be renewed annually, all fees and fines must be paid upon renewal.
Languages of ServiceEnglish ; French ; Some branches have Library Settlement Workers available that speak other languages.
