Application	Visit any branch to obtain a membership card * A proof of residence is required * Children need a parent's signature in order to get a card.
Fees	Membership - Membership is free for Ottawa residents. * Fees apply for non-residents. ; A parent or guardian's signature is required for anyone under 18 years of age. * Library cards must be renewed annually, all fees and fines must be paid upon renewal.
