| Description | Multi-service addiction treatment centre. Day Treatment Program: 2 year program for clients concerned about their substance use * pre-treatment withdraw * intensive treatment program with focus on education, group therapy, and life changes * individual and group support for brief interventions or post-treatment counselling Problem Gambling Program: 2 year program that consists of an assessment * individual counselling * group counselling * bi-weekly support group * the intensive treatment program is provided for 12 weeks and includes educational sessions and group therapy Sexual Abuse Support Program: group and individual counselling support to clients as they heal from the trauma of childhood abuse Children's Program: children's drug abuse prevention program Early Childhood Development Program: improves treatment and services for women with addictions that are pregnant or have young children up to six years of age * increase ancillary services available to these women such as childcare, life skills and parenting * referrals to health and social service programs Health Promotion Program: encourages women to create healthy lifestyle changes by helping them take control of their lives * workshops to the public and health-care workers * outreach prevention services to high-risk women * programs offered include Women and Wellness Parent-child Support Program: childcare for 2 half days per week while parents attend workshops, appointments and groups | |||
