| Description | Volunteer organization whose primary purpose is to provide direction, support and information to individuals actively searching for and wishing a reunion with family members separated by adoption. Provides assistance in initiating reunions with birth family * information about adoption disclosure legislation * guides and supports individual in search (where to start, what sort of letters to write, etc.) * post-reunion peer support group * affiliated chapters exist across Canada * bilingual resources and contacts * free online newsletter * primarily an English support group * private reunion registry | |||
| Eligibility | Welcomes everyone for public information meetings. Encourages adult adoptees over 18 * birth parents * fostered adults * birth siblings * birth relatives * adoptive parents to register. Persons under 18 may apply for membership with written permission from a parent or legal guardian. | |||
