| Description | Support group dedicated to individuals or families affected by anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction) or severe allergies to food and other products * support and education about anaphylaxis * promotion of allergy awareness in and around the Ottawa-Gatineau area * bi-monthly meetings to provide opportunities for formal and informal discussion. * Internal group forum allows members to communicate with each other.
Helps those who suffer from food allergies (including peanut allergy * nut and tree nut allergy * milk allergy * egg allergy * fish and seafood allergy * etc.) * who have anaphylaxis or life-threatening allergies or who need epinephrine and/or an epinephrine auto-injector, such as EpiPen and Twinject. |
