DescriptionStrives to address the changing needs of people in Ontario with cerebral palsy 
* By assisting member groups in the development and provision of services and programs including accommodation in all parts of the province of Ontario 
* By advocating and promoting awareness, understanding and acceptance of persons with cerebral palsy 
* By encouraging and supporting research, education and programs related to cerebral palsy. 
 
Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (OFCP) Household Pick-Up Service: home pickup of used clothing and household goods and neighbourhood used clothing donation bins in partnership with Value Village * Call or visit our Website to find the number to call for home pickup in your area. 
 
InformAction Newsletter: a newsletter entitled InformAction that is mailed out free of charge to anyone wishing to receive it * If you would like to be on the mailing list or would like to submit an article for publication, email: informaction@ofcp.ca. 
 
OFCP Assistive Devices Funding Program: a financial assistance program for persons with cerebral palsy. The categories of equipment include: communication and writing aids * enteral feeding equipment * orthotic devices * respiratory equipment * wheelchairs * positioning and ambulation aids * home accessibility aids * bathing and washroom aids * electronic aids for daily living * hospital beds and mattresses * car seats * For more information, call ext 236 * email: cindy@ofcp.ca 
 
Planning Services Program: program to improve the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy through a range of individualized services (initial consultations * home visits * independent person-centered planning * information resources on services, programs and products) * supports inclusion and helps people participate more fully, and benefit from the life of their community * Contact: Cindy De Graaff at ext 236 * email: cindy@ofcp.ca. 
 
Long-Term Planning and Support Program: assist families with the development of a long term plan to secure the quality of life they desire for their family member with cerebral palsy * Life Plan development (future care * emergency plans * education and assistance to families regarding Trusts, Wills and Powers of Attorney) * services to the individual with cerebral palsy after the parents are no longer able to do so (home visits * support to trustees * responding to urgent needs as they arise) * Individual and group presentations can be arranged * Contact: Cindy De Graaff at ext 236 * email: cindy@ofcp.ca. 
 
Activity Funding Program: assists people who have cerebral palsy to take a vacation * participate in educational courses * training * recreational activities * community day programs of their choice. * Provides funding for a wide variety of activities so that people with cerebral palsy may have more opportunities for engagement within the community. * Visit the Activity Funding Program page to find out more about eligible activities. 
 
Membership Services Program: 
 
Individual Membership: Open to all people with cerebral palsy, their parents/family members as well as professionals/supporters who have an interest in the welfare of persons with cerebral palsy. Individual members who have cerebral palsy are eligible to apply for funding assistance from OFCP for equipment, vacation and community based day programs. All members are entitled to one vote at all OFCP general meetings and they will receive mail outs throughout the year, including the OFCP newsletter. * Contact: 1-877-244-9686 * email: info@ofcp.ca.

Educational and Recreational Services: to improve the quality of life through education for people with cerebral palsy * conferences * workshops * seminars * public speaking * printed audio/visual materials * Contact: Scott McArthur, ext 226.
