Students and people with intellectual disabilities are matched in one-to-one friendships based on their interests and spend time enjoying experiences most people take for granted, like going for coffee, watching a movie or simply enjoying the company of a friend 
 
Over 250 Best Buddies chapters at high schools, universities and colleges across the country * Volunteer-led, students both with and without intellectual disabilities are involved in running the program
