DescriptionPrograms for child victims of violence and violent crimes: 
 
* It Shouldn't Hurt to be a Child: an awareness program on crimes against children 
 
* Missing Children Programme: through the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Missing Children Registry, the Centre prints and distributes posters of missing children 
 
* Victims of Violence Support Programme: support and help to parents whose child was abducted by a stranger, information on the court process, accompaniment services, offers help with paperwork  
 
* Victim Assistance: support and assistance to victims of violent crime and their families, help with the justice system 
 
* Referrals: referral to agencies or services that can help victims of various types of crimes 
 
* Research and Public Education: free distribution of printed materials on subjects related to crime victims, child abduction and the prevention of violent crime, offers presentations and research  
 
* Child ID Kits: available to families free of charge by calling 
 
* Canadian Centre for Missing Children: the central clearinghouse for information on missing children and adults
