Description	Offers assessment and active treatment of patients aged 65 and over who are experiencing mental health problems.    The program has a range of psychiatric services including: * an outpatient clinic * day hospital (45 rooms) * inpatient unit (26 beds) * a consultative outreach service to most long-term care facilities.    Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team. Requires written referral by physician. Contact Geriatric Psychiatry Intake Secretary.    All persons referred will be seen in consultation first. Then, depending on assessment of needs, the program will provide a consultation only or admission to one of its services as clinically indicated.    Contact Intake Secretary for a list of long-term care facilities visited by outreach consultative team.
